Introduction to tractor E-mark certification:
The EU type certification (also known as EU e-mark certification) for agricultural and forestry tractors, trailers and their parts is a mandatory certification for EU member states.
In 1974, the European Community (predecessor of the European Union) began to implement tractor product type certification in accordance with the 74/150/EEC directive. In 2003, the EU implemented Directive 2003/37/EC, which replaced Directive 74/150/EEC. In 2016, the European Union began to implement a new tractor type certification framework directive (EU) 167/2013, which replaced the previous directive system.
EU tractor type certification is the most complete and widely used certification system in the world. Not only tractors sold in the EU market must pass the EU type certification, but products that have passed the EU type certification are also recognized in non-EU countries and regions, such as South America, North America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

Definition of vehicle type, basic type and variant
According to European Union Regulation (EU) 167/2013, the vehicle type (type), basic type (variant) and variant (version) are defined as follows:
type
A group of vehicles of the same category (including basic types and variants) are at least consistent in the following basic elements:
category;
manufacturer;
Type name code specified by the manufacturer;
Basic structure and design features;
Integral site/side beam/hinged chassis (obvious and fundamental differences);
T-type vehicles: axles (number); or C-type vehicles; axles/tracks (number);
If it is a multi-stage manufacturing vehicle, the manufacturer of the previous stage and the type of the previous stage vehicle
2、Basic variant
Vehicles of the same type are consistent at least in the following aspects:
(a) For tractor:
Body structure or body type;
Completion stage
Engine (internal combustion/hybrid/electric/electric-hybrid);
working principle;
The number and arrangement of cylinders;
The power change does not exceed 30% (the maximum power does not exceed 1.3 times the minimum power);
The cylinder volume change does not exceed 20% (the maximum volume does not exceed 1.2 times the minimum volume);
Drive shaft (number, location and connection method);
Steering shaft (number and position);
The maximum full-load mass difference does not exceed 10%;
Drive train (type);
Protective device (ROPS) structure;
Brake axis (number).
(b) For trailers or replaceable towing equipment:
Steering shaft (number, position and connection method);
The maximum full-load mass difference does not exceed 10%;
Brake axis (number).
3、transform
The combination of different items specified in the vehicle information file.
Tractor e-mark certification project
The European Union (EU) 167/2013 Annex I stipulates that there are 62 EU type certification items for agricultural and forestry vehicles, which are divided into 33 items specified in the functional safety requirements regulations (EU) 2015/208 and structural safety requirements regulations (EU) 1322 /2014 requires 26 items, brake system requirements regulations (EU) 2015/68 requires 1 item, engine emissions and overall machine environmental noise requirements regulations (EU) 2015/96 requires 2 items,
