Introduction to Gulf GCC Certification
GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council or GCC) is short for Gulf Cooperation Council (Gulf Cooperation Council). The members of the Gulf Cooperation Council are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Republic of Yemen.
The Gulf Cooperation Council has initiated GCC certification since 2005. GCC certification is a compulsory certification. Before products such as vehicles and tires enter the Gulf market, they must obtain a GCC certificate. The approved GCC certificate is valid in all GCC member states.
GCC certification management agency
The governing body of GCC certification is the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) under the Gulf Cooperation Council.
According to GSO regulations, starting from January 1, 2005, motor vehicles and tire products will be inspected and GCC certification will be issued in accordance with Gulf standards.
GSO updates the list of certification standards and regulations for the coming year on its official website every year.
